We are excited to announce that, following guidance provided by Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, and in alignment with the City of Edmonton, we will be opening the playground and certain outdoor amenities. Though we are excited to see you back at the park, we will be re-opening in a limited capacity under specific regulations in alignment with Alberta Health Services.
What exciting news! We’re aware of the City of Edmonton’s announcement about opening playgrounds tomorrow. We are excited to be able to move towards having our community back playing at the Clubhouse and are looking forward to sharing more information about our opening plans soon! Please note this will be specific to certain outdoor amenities for now, as the splash park and building are set to open as part of Phase 3 of Alberta’s relaunch strategy.
As previously announced, due to the COVID- 19 pandemic, the Orchards Club House was closed as of March 14, 2020. Though we are looking forward to the day we are able to re-open for everyone in the community, the health and safety of our residents and employees continues to be our main priority. As per Order 02-2020 from Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, recreation facilities remain closed. We are continuously monitoring and evaluating Coronavirus developments. We will be following the advice of Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, and aligning with the City of Edmonton Recreation Centres in terms of when we will open again.
