future of renewable energy in Edmonton.

“My name is Lisa White I am a Professional Engineer and Industrial Professor within the School of
Engineering Safety and Risk Management in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta. I
recently installed a 7.02kW system on my home in the Orchards neighbourhood and I want to
share my experience and knowledge with others. With the apparent lack of detailed information on
exactly what is involved in the process, I have a strong desire to educate others so they can make an
informed decision about whether or not to go solar. I would also love to see the Orchards lead the City
of Edmonton with the most solar capacity installed of any neighbourhood in Edmonton in the coming
years. I believe we can be leaders in the fight against climate change and global warming in our own
backyards.”
